Don&#039;t know why it works but Fume Free Oven Cleaner (you know--the stuff in a spray can) it took blood out of my carpet after the cat had kittens!  I thought sure it would ruin the carpet as the ex just started spraying (He thought it was the carpet cleaner!) but as of when I left 3 years ago the carpet&#039;s fine....</description>

how about acetone? I know it get dyes (hair dye especially) out of carpets. Just a thought.</description>
