This is the machine to buy at a great price. Free shipping was the buying factor that pushed me to buy it. I hate getting into toilets and this made it easy for cleaning. Cleans up the floor around the toilet extra clean as well. I sprayed the toilet seat over and under and around and cleaned it better then new. The rim inside and outside is so easy with the spray nozzle and it does it so fast with hot steam that you can smell and see the clean after just a few seconds. I will never do without one of these again. This is my first and I was just being cheap by not buying one sooner. I don't know about the rest of the name brands but this one stands up very well so far. Hope this helps out cause I am now becoming a steam nut for cleaning. When you need something clean, steam is the only way to clean quickly and without chemicals.

I love this machine I used it to clean the grout on my kitchen and dining room floor I sprayed a little degreaser on the grout and used the steamer and the dirt came right out, and it took only two fill ups which is pretty good because I have a pretty large kitchen and dining area. I would absolutely recommend this product for projects around the house.

After seeing an steam cleaing infomercial, I decided to try one this model to get rid of the dark line at the baseboard edge of my white carpets. It worked great. I then went on to trying it in our bathrooms, etc. I am now a steam cleaning nut. I do mirrors, windows, the entire bathrooms, floors, etc. My husband said he is afraid to go to sleep at night that I will steam clean him.
The unit works very nicely. It is a nice weight but sturdy. It has gotten quite a bit of use. I have had a problem with the trigger not depressing off and am in the process of contacting the company. But I am very excited about my new way of cleaning. Everyone should try it!

In the world of false advertising one must always be careful. I looked at other units that were sold on TV, and almost purchased one. I found that the product according to others who had made the mistake, did not perform as advertised. THIS unit however is not junk! I use it to clean my stove, bathrooms, ceramic tile, outside grill, car, carpet and just about anything that I can. The steam lasts a long time (although having to wait 30 minutes before a refill is a drag), and this unit really has a lot of punch for the $$. Do yourself a favor when you buy this unit and purchase extra nylon and brass cleaning heads as they wear out quickly ( these can be purchased at the McCulloch Website ).

The McCulloch MC1246 Portable 1500 Watt Steam Cleaner is exactly what they said it was, an excellent little steam cleaner that gets up dirt other cleaning methods do not and disinfects with serious heat as it cleans. It absolutely cleans really well and is very easy to use. We got dirt off of the grout on our ceramic tile floors that we never knew was there.
